here I take from : http://steroidjunkie.com/reasons-to-drink-green-tea/

1. Green Tea and Cancer
Green tea helps reduce the risk of cancer. As stated above, green tea has cancer fighting properties, and is being used Worldwide now in the fight against cancer. The antioxidant in green tea is 100 times more effective than Vitamin C and 25 times better than vitamin E. Not too shabby, no? I would still use Vitamin C in the fight against cancer. But adding 3 to 4 drinks of green tea a day will give you great help in this fight. This antioxidant found in green tea helps your body at protecting cells from damage believed to be linked to cancer.
2. Green Tea and Heart Disease
Green tea is now officially accepted at helping to prevent heart disease and stroke. How does it do this? By lowering the level of BAD cholesterol! Even after the heart attack has happened, it prevents cell deaths and speeds up the recovery of heart cells. I know I said it once already, but hey, it really isn’t too shabby, is it?
3. Green Tea and Anti-Aging
This one is exciting, especially if you are over 40! Green tea contains antioxidant known as polyphenols which fight against free radicals in the body. What this basically means is, it helps you fight against the aging process and promotes longevity.
4. Green Tea and Weight Loss
I think I’m fair in guessing that a lot of you simply read this article just for this part. Tell me the facts. Does it or doesn’t it work? Well, green tea helps with your fat loss: Fact. Green tea DOES burn fat and also boosts your metabolism rate naturally. Studies have shown it can help you burn around 70 to 100 calories in just one day. That translates to 7 to 9 pounds in one year. Now, let’s add that in with cardio, lifting weights and a good diet. Let’s say you are 12/14% body fat and want to lose the belly. Green tea just helped you get rid of that belly and show off those abs!
5. Green Tea and Skin
The Antioxidant in green tea helps to protect the skin from the harmful effects of free radicals. Its effects on loose skin can also be beneficial, especially after a pregnancy or a large weight loss. It does this by getting the free radicals out of the skin, which cause wrinkling and skin aging. Green tea also helps fight against skin cancer.
6. Green Tea and Arthritis
Green tea can help to prevent and reduce the risk of rheumatoid arthritis. Green tea has many benefits for your health, as it is known to protect the cartilage by blocking the enzyme that are dangerous and attempt to destroy cartilage.
7. Green Tea and Bones
The very key to this is high fluoride content found in green tea. It helps to keep your bones strong. (Sorry milk, green tea is stealing your light here) If you drink green tea every day, even if it’s just once, it is shown to help you preserve your bone density. Not bad!
8. Green Tea and Cholesterol
As mentioned earlier, green tea can help lower the bad cholesterol level. It is also shown to improve the ratio of good cholesterol to bad cholesterol. It does this by reducing the bad levels of cholesterol in the body.
9. Green Tea and Obesity
Green tea prevents obesity by stopping the movement of glucose in fat cells. A cousin of mine was weighing in at 295lbs. He was lazy, didn’t exercise, and ate a lot of rubbish. Basically, he replaced his sweets with green tea. Know what happened? He’s 205lbs now. If he actually exercised and fixed his diet a bit more, he’d probably be at around 150. Just a thought!
10. Green Tea and Diabetes
Green tea improves lipid and glucose metabolisms. As I stated above, it’s also shown to help prevent sharp increases in blood sugar levels. Not only this, but it is shown to help balance your metabolism rate. Sorry, I tried not to say it again, but not too shabby!

11. Green Tea and Alzheimer’s
Green tea helps boost your memory. And although there’s no cure for Alzheimer’s, there are a LOT of ways to slow it down and improve it, and this is one. It helps slow the process of reduced acetylcholine in the brain, which leads to Alzheimer’s. For anyone suffering or knowing someone who has started to suffer with Alzheimer’s, I’d also recommend taking cod liver oil daily, along with mega dosing fish oil. I’ve actually seen this work wonders, and I’m saying this from first hand experience. Let alone the information backing it up, this is something I’m passionate on, and I believe green tea, fish oil, and cod liver oil can be a HUGE help.
12. Green Tea and Parkinson’s
The antioxidants found in green tea help prevent against cell damage in the brain, which could cause Parkinson’s. People drinking green tea are also less likely to progress with Parkinson’s. Similar advice to above; look at cod and also fish oils.
13. Green Tea and Liver Disease
Green tea helps prevent transplant failure in people with liver failure. (I highly recommend taking this if you are on a cycle of steroids) Research has shown that green tea destroys harmful free radicals in fatty livers.
14. Green Tea and High Blood Pressure
Green tea helps prevent high blood pressure. Drinking green tea helps keep your blood pressure down by repressing angiotensin, which leads to high blood pressure.
15. Green Tea and Food Poisoning
Yep, it can also help with this, too! Catechin, found in green tea, can kill bacteria which causes food poisoning and kills the toxins produced by those bacteria.

16. Green Tea and Blood Sugar
Yes, I know I’ve mentioned this a few times, but blood sugar tends to increase with age. Polyphenols and polysaccharides in green tea help lower your blood sugar levels, giving an almost youth like effect.
17. Green Tea and Immunity
The Polyphenols and flavenoids found in green tea help boost your immune system, making your health stronger in fighting against infections.
18. Green Tea and Cold and Flu
Green tea prevents you from getting a cold or flu. Vitamin C in green tea helps you treat the flu and the common cold.
19. Green Tea and Asthma
Theophylline in green tea relaxes the muscles which support the bronchial tubes, reducing the severity of asthma. (I’ve seen fabulous results with this in my athletes… Almost as good as Clen, which was originally made to help with asthma!)
20. Green Tea and Ear Infection
Green tea helps with ear infection problems. For natural ear cleaning, soak a cotton ball in green tea and clean the infected ear. Yep. Some countries, to this day, still recommend this method. And you know what? It’s been shown to be more effective then certain products sold over the counter!
21. Green Tea and Herpes
Green tea increases the effectiveness of topical interferon treatment of herpes. First green tea compress is applied, and then let the skin dry before the interferon treatment. (No more itching!)
22. Green Tea and Tooth Decay
Why do Americans have such white teeth? Because they drink so much green tea! Seriously, though, green tea destroys bacteria and viruses that cause many dental diseases. It also slows the growth of bacteria which leads to bad breath.
23. Green Tea and Stress
L-theanine, which is a kind of amino acid, is found in green tea, and can help relieve stress and anxiety.
24. Green Tea and Allergies
EGCG found in green tea relieves allergies. So, if you have allergies, you should really consider drinking green tea.
25. Green Tea and HIV
Scientists in Japan have found that EGCG (Epigallocatechin Gallate) in green tea can stop HIV from binding to healthy immune cells. What this means is that green tea can help stop the HIV virus from spreading.

Now You've known why you should have drink green tea , it's cheap but keeping you from expensive medication !
